Story by Lachlan (Cub Scout)
My first camp by myself was at Camp Coutts and it was fun. I liked sleeping in
the bunks with the other Cubs. I slept in the bottom bunk and James slept on
top. I enjoyed the story that Akela told and the ones that we made up. I
really enjoyed the campfire and the singing, particularly with the marshmallows.
After the campfire we watched Thunderbirds, it was great. The best bit was lighting the BBQ and cooking my breakfast. At the end we
went on a walk and got a bit lost, Ben and I helped find the right way back to
camp.
