The legend of our Group scarf:
- Blue background represents the rivers surrounding Bangor. It was also the
base colour for the old Como District, representing the rivers in the
Como/Menai area. We are now in the Yaroona District that uses the same base
colour.
- Brown represents the earth between the rivers.
- Yellow represents the sun that sustains life.
- Brown and yellow are traditional Bangor colours that are also used by the
local Bangor school, soccer and football groups.
